Checkout Showing Wrong Price

I have the the set price as $12.99 in AUD for a product, but when I click add to cart it comes up as $27.48, I cannot work out why?

  It sounds like you have set the base price for the product as well as setting a price variation in product options, which are cumulative. The options should be set to the amount by which the base price should vary for the chosen option.
