How will pretty links affect our SEO and link structure...will the two run side by side, or will pretty links replace the /category_xxx etc permalink structure?

When is this feature coming in?

  The current permalinks will be changed into redirects to the pretty links.

  For all intents and purpose the pretty url becomes "the url" - therefore search engines such as Google will treat the pretty url as the original source.

  No time frame at the moment, but this is obviousky very important to get right (and not screw up!!)
