Many disputes arise because customers do not recognize the name of the merchant displayed on their bank statement. This often occurs because the trading name is different to the official company name.
PayPal allows you to change the name on a customer’s bank statement.
- Log into PayPal
- Click on Profile within My Account
- Select My Selling Tools
- Click on the Block Payments update option
- At the bottom of the page you will see the 2 options – 11 and 19 characters
- After updating press Save
