This is now working. You can select categories in the 'Categories' tab and click the 'Move' button, you will then be able to specify what category to move the items to.

What about when you make a new category to lets say ...... combine several into one new one...... then move the products across, after which time you delete the original categories. It seems that even though there are NO products in the old categories and the categories have been DELETED and no longer appear in your category list......even after all this they STILL exist. Please see the ticket I have currently with associated screen shots. These "ghost categories can be found by google and even still try to navigate via links. Not a good look for your site customers and would definitely hurt your page ranking due to broken links and links that are replicated.

This has now been removed and un-accessible

    http://b4bfishing.com.au/category59_1.htm

the reason for this is, it retained the child category which was  attached to the products when the category was deleted, this has now been removed and shouldn't be longer accessible please refresh your browser by pressing ctrl and F5
