What are the different payment methods that are available to my customers in ezimerchant Professional?

Credit Card payment methods:

ezimerchant Deferred real-time payment processing

The most secure and flexible way to process credit card payments online.

Real time credit card transactions

Process your orders via a payment gateway.

Manual/Offline credit card transactions

Process your orders manually - (using an EFTPOS terminal).

Third party payment processors

PayPal

PayPal are a very popular 3rd party payment provider. Now with seamless PayPal Express Checkout Integration!

PayMate

PayMate are an Australian 3rd party payment provider.

Other payment methods

BPAY

If you are a BPAY merchant, your clients will be able to pay for their orders using Internet or Telephone banking.

Account numbers

This method will allow you to accept orders if you have already organised an account number with a particular customer. When the customer purchases from your web site they need only type in their Name and address details and their account number - They will not be required to enter a credit card number.

Cheque

This method will allow your customer to elect to pay by cheque. When the customer orders they will be asked to supply a cheque number. This will help you match the order with the cheque when it arrives in the mail.

Money order

This method will allow your customer to elect to pay by money order.

Cash on delivery

This method will allow your customer to elect to pay by Cash on delivery.

Direct Deposit

This method will allow your customer to elect to pay by Direct Deposit.

Pick up

This method can be used if you wish to give your customers the option of paying for their purchase when they pick it up.

No Payment Required

Select this method if you have promotional items that you want to give away for free. If the total of a shopping cart (including postage) equals zero, the checkout will not request payment details.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Regardless of which method you choose, you must have an active account on the ezimerchant Global Transaction Server (GTS). Current cost of this service is $29.95 per month AUD. ezimerchant Professional web sites will not function without an active GTS account.
